Project types help you organize your projects and find them on the Manage Projects screen. Your project types will reflect the kind of projects your firm does. Some examples of Project Types might include: Consulting, Training, QuickBooks Cleanup, Data Review, Marketing, Sales, Internal.
Setup > Project Types takes you to the Manage Project Types screen. Click the down-arrow next to the Manage Project Types screen title and choose Add Project Type. The Create Project Type screen will open. Fill out the following fields:
|Type *Required||The project type name|
|Active||Whether or not the project type is active.|
|Close||Close the Create Project Type screen without saving.|
|Save and Close||Save the new Project Type and return to the Manage Project Types screen|
